"FREE MONEY GIVE AWAY,1 MILLION"

CASSELBERRY MAYOR has stepped to new levels of stupidity. The mayor would give all the money the city has as long as it is not her own. Her new and latest statements about giving a Million dollars to a local Chef to open a new restaurant has to rank with a most foolish and por business investment. That 3 million dollars came from somewhere and that somewhere was out of our pockets in "TAXES". Restaurants fail 95% of the time and since the chef never owned or operated a restaurant a first venture in a poor location and a bad economy could not spell disaster more than this. The Mayor has said that the New board walk with the pretty fountain is a great investment. Yeah, for who?No one uses the board walk to nowhere, what a bad waste of good money. The mayor seems to have more money to spend than sense and her logic is on par with screen doors on submarines. Hate to tell you mayor Glancy, we do not buy you logic or your decissions. She needs to be held accountable for her bad decissions. It must be nice to bring your friends to speak positive towards such a stupid decission and have people like me arrested for disagreeing with their way of thinking. That is what Backwater despots do. Sounds like the Mayor needs to step down and have someone who can make financially sound decissions?

FREEDOM OF SPEECH and THE RIGHT TO PETITION OUR GOVERNMENT FOR REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES is a right protected and guaranteed by the CONSTITUTION of theU.S.A. Casselberry mayor and commissioners decide to ignore the constitution and bypass the inalienable rights by ignoring people who bring opposition and truth to face the growing surge of wasteful spending, out of control taxation and communistic regulations and ordinances.
Civility defined by the mayor would be to"SIT DOWN,SHUT UP AND DON'T SAY A WORD",oh and agree with them. Well, this is not the way our government is suppose to be conducting business, in fact this is HOW it is NOT TO CONDUCT BUSINESS.
We are suppose to be a government "FOR,OF AND BY THE PEOPLE" and by a CONSENSUS of the people, not by the SELF WILL of our government which is CORRUPT.
When we have a disagreeing viewpoint we have the right to petition our government leaders to have them to stop foolish,illogical,stupid and unlawful decisions that detrimentally hurt and negatively affect our city by speaking at city meetings,in turn of course to voice our opinions,our private opinions ,whatever they may be.
Accountability for what is said must be at the forefront no matter the speaker?Th e Mayor or Commissioners do not have the right to stand up and DECEIVE,MISLEAD OR DELIBERATELY LIE to the public?No, they do not have a right to be UNCIVIL to the people they are to be representing and that is REPRESENTING not RULING OVER AS A MONARCHY as "BACKWATER DESPOTS".
The Mayor premeditated with the commissioners and police how they were going to stop me from public speaking to discriminate against the: "CONTENT","SPEAKER and"MATERIAL" by causing a scene by a planed "UNLAWFUL/ILLEGAL" action to arrest me, which is clearly documented by the words on the public recorded audio recording and the "ORIGINAL"arrest report on March 22,2010. How "CIVIL" is a crime against me to arrest me for "INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE" when the arrest report does not contain any word that I was accused of saying?WAIT A DANG MINUTE?What do you mean?Freedom of speech even covers speech that is vulgar but I did not say any vulgar words,nor anything untrue.
The Mayor made a unlawful order that overstepped her authority thus the deputy chief of police was aware I had not violated any city ordinance at the meeting so he overstepped his legal authority to detain,arrest and to have me beaten and threatened[$14,000 in medical bills to prove the abuse] consisted a of an UNLAWFUL ARREST. you SHOULD READ THE ORIGINAL ARREST REPORT it is lacking everything needed to make a lawful arrest let alone common sense.
You would conclude I not only followed civility and the rules of proper decorum buy in no way disrupted the meeting nor did or said anything I was accused of saying reported in the Original arrest report.
Now how can a person-me be prosecuted for Trespassing when trespassing was not even mentioned in the original arrest report?Falsifying police records perjuring themselves in court and the court,state attorneys office,public defender and judge cohort ed to work together to prosecute me,specially when the Judge gave unlawful jury instructions[see Katherine Macon v.State of Florida-2003 appellate decision ruling] to bias the jury.Now who is uncivilised?
Who can we trust if the government is violating the law and constitution?It is not the job of the state to prosecute innocent people,is it? Leave a comment.

"SPENDING & TAXING OUT OF CONTROL"

CASSELBERRY FLORIDA MAYOR has been purchasing privately owned land ,predomantly business and then tearing the buildings down with our city tax dollars.WHEN did being land Barron's become legal to continue taxing our citizens?How can the city continue to raise taxes when they are purchasing properties with our tax dollars without selling off land to return those tax dollars to maintain our city?The city Mayors position is not a monarchy to build land wealth off the backs of us peasants.Wait a minute ,we are not peasants and doesn't anyone contest being taxed while the mayor and commissioners hoard properties at our expense?
We are not talking about one or two properties,we are talking about dozens and dozens while the city has put special assessments[new taxes] for the citizens to bear because they have overspent and turned to new taxation rather than selling off land they purchased with our taxes or just restrain from purchasing more land. It just doesn't make any logical sense does it?
The city has been holding onto properties for years that should be returned into the land market and tax rolls.The city does not need any new fancy buildings or to build a "RODEO DRIVE" . We don't need flyovers we don't need a "downtown"or the city to design and build anything!! What we need is for the city to run our local government resposibly and that is by providing services,public services such as:municipal water,roads,trash removal,police,fire/rescue services and management services for the comunity from the city hall. The city is not to be "ENTERTAINING" and wasting money WHILE NOT HAVING MONEY TO PAY THE BILLS!I guess these people do not have a lick of sense nor any decency of moral values to treat our community with such disrespect. Land north side of derby shire the city has held onto for years and still plans a fire house there where it is not permitted because of the residential zone and EPA sensitive land that could be a park or returned to build a few single homes .Threatening the development is not what the city should be doing would the mayor put a fire station across the street from her house? Absolutely not, then why are they trying to force this on our residents?It shows they just do not care. Is this the kind of people we can tolerate in office?Absolutely not! The mayor and commissioners need to be removed from public office and barred from holding any public office in the future. They should be examined how many properties the city owns , the cost spent to purchase those properties and the properties returned to the tax roll[sold] and the proceeds from the income from selling of that land returned to the citizens by reducing the taxes required to run the city instead of bilking the city with run away spending and tax burdens such as banner/flags and fancy streetlights that do not provide us with any more light and flags that say casselberry on them.We know where we live.
I sure would like to drive a "Rolls Royce",but I can not afford one, then why should the Mayor force us to have to pay for a lifestyle our city can not surely afford. Lets hold the mayor and Commissioners accountable and/or have them removed from office?We should not be purchasing land for Parks and Building developments[retail] if the city needs to have anymore parks ,let it be by public donated land and private donations. "OUT OF CONTROL SPENDING"

CASSELBERRY Mayor and commissioners have been on a roll, spending spree without accountability to the tax payers.In an economically challenged time they have not cut wreck less spending but increased their spending while also restricting businesses and new businesses,parts of our tax base.The Mayor and commissioners do not want citizens input or comments that don't agree with their plans. They had me arrested march 22,2010 because I showed a systematic waste and habitual pork barrel waste with such nonsensical, illogical decisions to spend out of control and having no accountability whatsoever.They actually took pride to premeditate and plan how they would entrap me and violate the constitution by violating my first amendment rights,freedom of speech and the right to petition our government for redress of grievances.My arrest was completely unlawful along with the beating I received in handcuffs[$14,000.00 in medical bills]effectuated by the now Chief of police who was dress in regular cloths and never identified himself,gave no identifiable commands and since I was running for a commission seat acted like many people have after I speak to talk about my views in the hallway.
The Mayor had me unlawfully prosecuted to keep me from holding public office and to have the court judge bar me from everything on city hall property so that they would not have a spokesman to oppose and inform the community of their out of control spending and stupid decisions.WAIT, IS THAT NOT COMMUNISM?These backwater despots do not want the community thinking and inspecting their decisions why do you think so many city employees have been "let go" or force to retire?They have been hiring employees to follow their way of thinking and these people are mean in spirit toward anyone opposing the mayor.
HOW DOES THIS BUILD GOOD COMMUNITY VALUES?How is raping our city financially a good thing?How can they get away with this?Glad you asked, they keep ignoring anyone who opposes them and by being deceptive and deliberately lying as they did in court to keep me from my constitutional rights to address my elected representatives and to speak at city meetings to inform the public. In essence they are robbing us of our money by taxing us uncontrolably and spending more than they can tax us while wasting millions of dollars and ruining our city.

We are having problems with the city being honest and treating people very unlawfully and dishonestly so this will give everyone a forum to air their complaints.
We as Americans have a duel responsibility to participate in our government and our goverment has a responsibility to govern by consciences. We do not have a Monarchy,or are communist,fascist or a bunch of Backwater despots for a government and we are suppose to be for of and by the people and by consent of the people. Our government is not here to rule over us but to represent the people and not their own will.
I have talked with many people who have their own stories of how the city has lied to us,intimidated people, threaten them and have the police,beat arrest or intimidate. Many people have asked me to post everyone who has had a problem with the city so we can get these problems handled since the city wants to ignore us.

WELCOME TO THE NEW AGE OF COMMUNISM,Casselberry style.A simple look at how the city mayor and commissioners have ruined so many businesses by taking over land properties and the forcing out business owners ,out of the city or out of business. We can look at the business property that has been bought with our tax dollars and the homeowners also forced out of their homes.Two proposed flyovers have taken and wrecked our city in the guise of doing something good. Now how could projects progress when they have been voted down,the data showing the flyovers not being good or beneficial,the business owners and residents rejecting them and the main reason too boot,no funding to build.The Mayor proudly has badgered the Metro plan of the area cities to "DEMAND"her far share which equates to$75 million to start building the flyovers yet still being $200-$500 million short to complete the jobs.Ah,you ask how will a project this size get the remaining capitol to finish?Taxes,taxes that will come without asking the public for approval!Ouch, that has to hurt? Well yes it has,approx. 20 homeowners were forced out of their homes[eminent domain]. If you notice the disappearance of many landmark buildings and businesses to see empty lots you are correct.When you add up how many properties have been bought and torn down with our own tax dollars you will be sick.To find out the motive to close some of the businesses was not to build the flyovers but to put out of business "ADULT ENTERTAINMENT" that should question if that was lawful not whether you agree with that type of business.If you look at each business within a half mile of each intersection most have gone or will be gone or will have substantial losses before,during and after construction.Now that these businesses are going, going ,gone, what is the plan to resurrect our ghost town and new businesses? you won't believe it the city plans to build dense buildings which would predominantly be up to 10 story buildings,hotels and office buildings?Wait a minute,would you think that these kind of buildings will be compatible with our residential area communities,"NO" it will ruin our city,it will fundamentally change our city, the appearance of our city and everyone will loose.How can the city make us pay for such a lame brain poorly decided plan?They have threatened,intimidated and extort the money from us while deliberately lying and deceiving us, shame on them. No one with all the facts would allow these flyovers to continue specially during such poor economic times it is a crime to have ruined so many businesses and not built good community values-shame on them. "HAPPY NEW YEAR,BUT NOT TO THE PEASANTS"

THE NEW YEAR BRINGS BLIGHT to the city of Casselberry,Florida.They have ruined more businesses and have gone around continually terrorising business owners and having so many of our landmarks torn down that our home town city charm is unrecognizable.
A ghost town is what we are becoming and then allowing developers come in and rape our land.
Let us look at the facts,for anyone not familiar to our city just bear with each account to add up how our city has ruined our community.
Look first at the land across from city hall, there used to be businesses,ie,Casselberry glass ,Shell gas and then strangely the mysterious and"CONVENIENT" fire at the Masonic lodge that not only house the masons but also Demolay, a youth version for building community values for teens, now what has that done to promote our community and help our businesses?How convenient it was for the Masonic Lodge to burn to to fit in with the city taking land[eminent domain] to leave a large empty field. Next look west at the plaza the city bought and immediately started tearing down most of this little plaza tearing down the old hardware store and the great community bar/restaurant to put parking for city hall while having near 10 acres of open field? The city became mean unbearable landlords forcing business out leaving a plaza that is sickly looking with city fleet parking that is out of place and trashy looking.
Now across the street from thereon our major highway the city bought all of the land ,Tore all the business buildings down and change the roadway behind going into the target plaza with a bizarre circle with a group of turns that is more confusing than usable and we should not absorb the cost of this roadway that was not even needed.
Next go north of city hall the city bought the land with our tax dollars to close an adult Entertainment club which also housed in the plaza a few businesses and a separate restaurant.The building torn down to leave a hideous sight of broken concrete and concrete slabs that once was a building.Why was that done? could it be for the millions of dollars spent to build a boardwalk across Lake concord that no one uses and goes no where? We can not forget the new intersection and the millions spent to change the lake shore and road with a new wall way.
East of city hall the city tore out the road and tore down the city buildings along lake concord to put in a large fountain and extend the lake shore to make a park area.
We can not forget that the city built the boardwalk across private land[Blacks Auto lot] and the lawsuit that now pays the landowner damages per month or access across his land. Why did the city not check before the built?The city fired Mr. Paradise[force to step down] for his stupid decision.
Wow that is only land around city hall, amazing? We now have to briefly look down 17/92 and 436 where the two flyovers they are going to build tat the public, certain commissioners ,public surveys and data have opposed and confirmed will not benefit our city.Each intersection that a flyover will be built the business that have disappeared ,torn down ,bought out,forced out or left to face going out of business mainly from,you guessed it, harassment and city ordinances making it unbearable to stay in business.
How many businesses and properties are we talking about?30 -50 businesses have disappeared or putout of business.Some business owners afraid to speak up for fear of reprisal,some barely staying in business and the city buying with our tax dollars property so we can be taxed even more because of shortfalls from over spending.
What does this new year have in store for our city? Nothing positive,nothing reducing the tax burden on the residents and business owners and finally to harass the residents by restricting and forcing new ordinances that they force to harass us with. Wow,taking our tax dollars to force business out of business,buy their land and then spend our tax dollars deciding how redevelop the "NEW" properties and this doesn't include the many dozens of lawsuits to annex[force into incorporating] into the city.Have a comment, post one.
